We have big news at our house this week: James is rolling over both ways!

That thumb is going to be the death of me.. I just know it.
He is sitting up in his stroller, front-facing- like a big boy!
In other news, our air conditioning unit totally went kaput. Yes. Kaput. In this heat of 100+ degrees every single day. At one point, our unit was reading that our house was 89 degrees. 89 degrees- inside our house. I was not a happy camper. Side note: It is very hard to sleep when you are sweating and you are worried that your baby is too hot. Anyway... Luckily, we were able to buy a very expensive new unit and have it installed within a few days. Yes- a few days, and I was told that I was lucky that it wasn't more. But we were given a window unit to use in the meantime, so we weren't completely miserable. I have come to completely appreciate the power of electricity and air conditioning- no matter the cost. I really don't know how people used to do it back before these things were invented. Yikes.
James was over the heat and being cooped-up inside our bedroom. This just goes to show that James is cute even when he cries.

Ryan has been very busy working long hours in the ICU, and I start work next week. It has been such a huge blessing that my job allows me to take off as long as I need for maternity leave, and that I can work from home while dictating how many hours I want to work. Thankfully, I will ease back into it part-time and see how it goes. James has 2 very amazing grandmothers that are coming to help me out until his Mother's Morning Out program starts in September.
