3 months

A lot has happened since my last post- just over a month ago! We had Father's Day, went to Mississippi, went to Atlanta for the 4th of July, and had lots of visitors! James is doing amazing and growing like crazy!

Ryan and James on Father's Day. James wanted to dress-up for Ryan's big day :) James's uncle Ben got him this fabulous onesie that says "I want to be formal, but I like to party too."

James's Pappy came all the way from Mississippi to visit and also take us to Mississippi to stay for a week. It was a huge help because I didn't feel ready to make that long drive with James by myself. He was an amazing chauffeur!

James is ready for the 8 hour car trip

We had to stop a couple of times to feed James, and my dad was a trooper! What a pro!

James's future is so bright

These two were inseparable

James's Gigi always knew how to get him to sleep when he was fussy

"Whatcha talkin bout Willis"

hahahahaha

Look at these monster zucchinis that my parents grew. They are as big as my mom!

My wonderful aunt and cousins came to visit us from Arkansas! Aren't they just beautiful? It was a quick trip, but I am so glad that I got to see them. It meant so much to me to have them come visit us!

Quite the ladies' man

We then traveled from Mississippi to Atlanta to celebrate the Fourth of July

We love America

The star and his Grandmommie

Uncle Austin got to come to Atlanta with us too!

I love this family picture of us!

James loves his Mimi

James and his sweet Aunt MaryAnn

She held him through the entire very loud fireworks show, and James slept through the whole thing. She definitely has the touch!

Anna, Ben, and Cindy

Austin, Wes, and myself

The picture doesn't do them justice, but they were amazing!

James and his Grandpa

After we got back from Jonesboro, this little monkey decided that he was ready to start sleeping through the night! Hallelujah! I am very thankful for "The Baby Sleep Solution" by Suzy Giordano because we couldn't have done it without that book. James is a pretty "go with the flow" baby, so he made it a lot easier to transition to sleeping through the night. He deserves a lot of credit too! :)

James loves to chew on his hand- which drives me crazy because I don't want him to be a thumb-sucker

Getting longer

Not a huge fan of tummy-time but still smiling

Ben and Anna came to visit us, and the guys went kayaking down the canal

Two peas in a pod

Once again- 2 peas in a pod. This is the snapchat that Ryan sent me. hahaha

James has starting snuggling with his little lovie which for those of you who don't know what a "lovie" is, fear not- I didn't either. It is a combination of a small stuffed animal and blanket. It is really soft and the perfect size for James to hold on to.

This little stud turned 3 months and 13 weeks on the same day, so the month trumped the weekly picture. James is getting bigger and bigger each week and is more fun each day! He loves to "talk" to me, and he has starting playing around more with his vocalizations and pitches. He also has started doing funny squeals which he likes to hold out for a longer period of time. He can roll from his tummy to his back on a soft surface (bed), and is still working on it with a hard surface (floor). He can roll from his back to either side, and sometimes he turns himself around in his crib facing the opposite direction. He loves to hold his hands together and chews on either fist the majority of the time.

He smiles at himself in the mirror but gets bashful and hides his face afterwards! He definitely recognizes my face and Ryan's face, and he will search the room for us. He smiles whenever anyone smiles at him, and he is the happiest little boy. He loves to splash water everywhere when he takes a bath by kicking his legs.

Ben and Anna came to visit us after they had both volunteered as camp counselors and they had to teach James what they learned at camp. Here they are teaching James how to "whip and nae nae."

What James would look like as a gangster.. feel free to "thugify" yourself with the app! haha

After bath time in his dinosaur towel

Getting bigger and cuter!

Smiling in his sleep on one of our many morning walks in his stroller

Austin and Chelsea came to visit us from California and Mississippi!

I stole some of their snapchats so I could post them here

Two cuties!

James misses his uncle already. We will have to go visit him in San Diego one he gets settled in!

Where are y'all taking me now?

Ryan's nightly bedtime routine reading to James

We went fishing

That's all for now! Adios!
