Getting showered with love!

Everything is going great as we get nearer to Baby James's due date. Ryan has been busy working on his Hematology/Oncology rotation, and I have been busy seeing students while I still can along with getting everything ready for the new babe.

Spring is in the air! I have really been loving this awesome weather that Augusta has been getting, and I can see why they have the Master's Tournament here. It's absolutely beautiful. Enough about the weather...

The Ever Growing Bump:

I had two very amazing showers, and I was overwhelmed by all of the love we received. We got some wonderful gifts for Baby James, and we couldn't be more thankful. It was so nice going back home to Mississippi and seeing all of my friends and family that ventured out into the monsoon that day! It was also so nice to see everyone in Atlanta, and we are so blessed to have all of you in our lives.

My two sweet cousins who came from Arkansas in the snow and ice!

The two beautiful grandmothers-to-be!

My awesome hostesses and friends (Liz, myself, Mary Love, Chelsea, and Whitney)

Getting ready to start opening gifts

More beautiful hostesses and friends (Meg, myself, Brittany, and Bailey)

Another shot of the hostesses with Aunt MaryAnn! I have the prettiest friends and family

I had to make sure that our carseat worked:

Our awesome pallet bookshelf that my awesome hostesses (Meg, Bailey, and Brittany) gave me, which Brittany's husband Allen made! Isn't that so special and cool?

Ryan and I were able to take one last weekend trip to Fayetteville, NC for a wedding of our friends/co-residents with Ryan. It was amazing, and I tried Indian cuisine for the first time in my life. It was delicious, and we had a blast. I bet you've never seen a pregnant lady dance like I did at the reception! haha For real though.. I did. Don't judge me

James's nursery is still a work-in-progress, but it is coming along quite nicely. I still need a few things to put on the walls, but we are getting there. As you can tell, I love turquoise/mint, gray, and navy.

That's all for now! We have about 3 weeks until James's due date, but who knows when he will actually come. We are getting more and more excited, and it is hard not to feel a little impatient at times. I just wish I knew when he was coming! I actually started packing my hospital bag this morning, which Ryan thinks is crazy since we live about 5 minutes from the hospital. What can I say? I like to be prepared.
