Welcome to the world James Wilson Keen!
James was born on April 15, 2015 at 4:15 a.m. weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. He is completely perfect, and we couldn't be any more in love with our little guy.
I have been meaning to do a post for awhile now, but it is hard to get motivated to blog when you have an adorable baby to hold. Needless to say, our lives have totally been turned upside down by our new bundle of joy, but we are loving every minute of it. My phone is now full of James pictures, so here are a few in sequential order:
Obligatory pre-labor picture
"I'm about to have a baby" selfie
We made it!
Our awesome doctor, Dr. Braun

I have some wonderful friends, family, and neighbors who sent us flowers and food!
Isn't this the most pitiful thing you've ever seen? This is what he looked like one morning. He had broken out of his swaddle and knocked his hat off AND moved to the edge of the bassinet. His little arm was sticking out too, but I wasn't able to capture it.
This might be my favorite picture yet. His favorite thing to do is snuggle, and I love it.
My parents came and were able to stay with us for about a week. They were a huge help, and I know that we couldn't have survived without them. We just need to live closer!
Before they had to leave :(
Do I look tired? It's because I am :)
James had his first bath... and screamed the whole time.
We went to Atlanta for the Swim Across America event! This is before MaryAnn arrived

My beautiful flower arrangement that Cindy made for us! Isn't it gorgeous? She is so talented!

Ryan is the best Daddy
I turned 30 on Mother's Day, and it was so special!
James is so advanced that he wrote me this sweet note and drew me a picture to go along with his amazing gift that he got for me.
I just love all of the faces that he makes!
I can't resist taking pictures of him while he sleeps
We got him some "Babiators" because.. well why not
He is starting to smile!
Here are some videos that I have taken:
Excuse the toot at the end... waking up is hard
Smiling and starting to talk to me
Here are his weekly pictures that I have been taking as well:
These photo shoots have proven to be a little more difficult than I anticipated, and occasionally I get a gem like this:
hahahahahah
That's all for now! I will try not to wait another 5 weeks before I post again!
