Where did the time go? How is it possible that I am already 28 weeks pregnant? Even more importantly, I have got to get his nursery ready! Ahhh! I was, however, able to get his room painted. Here is a picture of the neutral color that we I chose:
Also, here is the bassinet that I had when I was a baby. My dad MADE IT. Isn't that so cool? I love it so much, and it is so special to me! I can't wait to test it out :)
Not sure if I have posted this before, but we have the BEST neighbors. Seriously. Some of our neighbors brought by the sweetest baby gift. It has matching shorts and a matching denim hat. Plus, isn't it perfect since he is expected to be born during Master's week?
I can't believe that I am going to have a little person to dress in cute outfits like this everyday.
Here are some pictures from the past few weeks of the growing bump:
Getting to be large and in-charge for sure.
Here is what my baby app said for this previous week:
The size of a head of lettuce...
And here he is now:
These different vegetables and fruits crack me up.
I had my last monthly checkup, and I will now start going to the OBGYN every 2 weeks. She said that he was right on target size-wise and that his heart beat sounded perfect. She also surprised me by saying that we will get another ultrasound at 32 weeks, so I am so excited!
Also, we finally decided on a name.. drumroll please....
JAMES WILSON KEEN
I love it, and it fits him already. It's weird, but he just "felt" like a James to us. So, James is what he will be! FYI: James was Ryan's grandfather's middle name, and it is also Ryan's middle name. I love how classic and strong it sounds. And I had to throw my maiden name in there somewhere. Let the monogramming begin! just kidding.. but seriously I love monogrammed things :)
In other non-baby news, we had a wonderful Christmas break in Atlanta. It was so nice to relax with family and friends and eats lots of delicious food. It was hard to come back to reality once the holidays were over.
Ryan finally finished his cardiology rotation (thank heavens) and is now working his 2-week long night-shift rotation at the VA. It hasn't been so bad, but I sure will be glad to have him back on a normal schedule where I can actually see him. It's hard to believe that he is already half-way finished with his intern year as a resident. I am still doing online speech therapy with about 45 students (Yes, that's a lot), and everything is going great!

I hope that everyone has a great week! Try to stay warm and adios!
